Pickup and Visit of Florence
Your personal English-speaking driver will be waiting for you at Livorno Port or La Spezia Port to meet you. You will then be whisked to your first stop on this shore excursion, the marvelous city of Florence, which will leave you breathless with its enchanting beauty. You will have the opportunity to stroll through the streets of the cradle of the Italian Renaissance and savor the unique atmosphere of Tuscany's capital by visiting important sites and monuments, such as the Basilica of Santa Maria del Fiore, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, and the Accademia Museum, where you can admire Michelangelo's renowned Statue of David.
Andrea Bocelli Foundation, Vineyards Visit & Wines and Delicacies Tasting
After a spectacular morning, you can pay a visit to the Andrea Bocelli Foundation, which has its headquarters right in Florence, and learn all about his wonderful life. After that, your private chauffeur will take you to Lajatico, the Maestro's hometown, where you can visit his family's vineyards and learn all about the wine-making process. You will of course have the chance to savor the delicious wine and some local delicacies at an exclusive tasting accompanied by a Bocelli family member, at Ristorante Bocelli.
Tuscan Lunch at Bocelli Restaurant, Bocelli Museum and Drop-off
Once you have finished tasting the exquisite whites and reds produced by the Bocelli family, a typical Tuscan lunch consisting of three courses will be waiting to delight you. Afterwards, you can take a look at the Bocelli Museum located on the second floor of the restaurant and admire all of the Maestro's musical achievements, after which you will be escorted back by your personal driver to where you wish to be dropped off, certain that you have experienced a unique day discovering Italian art and good food.
