Day three of your Bocelli Sound of Excellence tour is dedicated to the world of the great Maestro Andrea Bocelli. After a delicious breakfast, your private driver will take you to the first leg of the day: the PPG Recording Studios. Here, during your guided tour you will have the opportunity to discover the fascinating process behind music production; you will get a close look at the equipment used by Italy’s most famous tenor and his team, from the most modern musical instruments to vintage ones, from equalizers to compressors, from microphones to preamplifiers. It will be an engaging experience!
After living a singer’s experience in a recording studio, it is time to go on a tour through the countryside. You will be chauffeured to the Bocelli Farmhouse where you can take a stroll through the vineyards and visit the Bocelli family’s cellars to learn about their winemaking process. A Bocelli family member will then be waiting for you at Officine Bocelli Restaurant and will guide you through an exclusive tasting of Bocelli fine wines telling you interesting facts about winemaking and the Bocelli family.
Before enjoying a tasty lunch prepared with the finest local produce, you cannot miss a visit to the Museum dedicated to Bocelli’s achievements, located on the first floor of Officine Bocelli.
To conclude the day dedicated to your passion for Maestro Bocelli, you will visit the tenor’s hometown of Lajatico. It is here that you will find the Teatro del Silenzio, an open-air theater surrounded by Tuscan hills where Andrea Bocelli holds his annual concert every summer. Your fourth day begins with a two-hour guided tour of another Tuscan city of art: Lucca. This ancient city is a jewel protected by perfectly preserved Renaissance city-walls. Wandering through its streets you will find yourself in marvelous squares, such as Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, and you will be fascinated by historical buildings and churches. It is here that Giacomo Puccini, one of the greatest Italian opera composers, was born.
